How To Get Involved
The BCWEIA was established as an advocacy effort during BC’s COVID response that shutdown our industry from December 2021 to February 2022. With that intense and critical effort behind us, we’re now working to formalize the association, create programming, and find ways to support our industry however it’s needed most.
The vision for what the BCWEIA could be is big. Currently we’re run by a small group of volunteers and our time and resources are limited. To bring the vision to life, we need your help. This help can come in the form of input, administration, talent, time, expertise, and so much more.
Many hands make light work, and we’re an industry built on passion, creativity and collaboration. Whether it takes months or years to build up our association’s framework, we’re committed to being here to support the wedding and event industry, your passion, livelihood, blood, sweat and tears.
